In which my past self validates my current choices
I just found a list of goals I wrote nearly three years ago. It’s heartening to rediscover this list on the cusp of my 30th birthday and just as I’m about to leave NYC for the suburbs after living here for more than 11 years. Considering the goals I laid out for myself years ago (and then promptly forgot) and the life changes I am about to make (the abovementioned, plus more), I have...

mcnallyjackson: Robots! They’re changing the way we live. Love this! May need to hit McNally J (one of my favorite bookstores, btw), and buy a book just for the sake of seeing it printed and bound before my eyes.

This process occurs over a period of around one second, and leaves...

– Mr. Sexsmith’s Other Girlfriend: The Myth of New York « Acceptance « Society Yet another addition to my ever-growing list of New York City quotes, which more or less all express the same sentiment. I never get sick of reading essays about this theme. Maybe I hope that one day I’ll...

Salad for Breakfast: From a tribal elder →
These days, my artist ex-husband, now a good friend, may come in off my elevator unannounced to crash for the night while I’m trying to watch a romantic movie on the couch with my current lover and the Argentinean supermodel types away on his computer in the kitchen, and then later all three men…
